Succotash Tuesday.
Breathing a little easier today, all of the awesome advice from yesterday was great. Some were things I already have on my list, but I wasn't doing what I knew would help. Thanks!
I haven't done Succotash tuesday in quite a while, but to many things to talk about so I thought I might as well make succotash.
I am loving my new class. Half of the participants are new and the other half are returning from my first class to reach more of they're weight loss goals. week 1 results were awesome with 1, 2, 3, and on up to 6.5 pounds lost!! AWESOME!!
I was so excited to take Big Mister to story hour for 3 and 4 year olds this morning. It is every tuesday morning from 10-11a.m. and they have a group of about 15 or so. He was beaming afterward. I was really battling with the whole pre-school thing and this seems to be enough to get him through to next fall when I will put him through a monisourri program (I know I misspelled that word, sorry). It is an awesome way of learning that is very interactive. I wanted to send him this fall but it was $250.00 tuition per month unless he were already 4 years old. He missed the deadline by a month. A lot of school systems are getting this type of program and it is so awesome.
Now, my only task for the week is, to prepare for me to go on a all girls scrapbooking weekend and ensure that things are set up well enough for my husband to take care of the darlings for 2 and half days while I am gone!! WOO HOO!!
I decided to try my hand at another canning venture this fall. I am going to make canned apple pie filling. I love apple pie or anything apple and cinnomin for that matter and so I am going to do all the work in one day and enjoy the benefits for a year. I will let you know how it turns out. I had to beg, plead and grovel at the feet of my aunt Lucy to get the recipe but she finally gave it to me, HA HA just kidding I just wanted to be dramatic for a moment! LOL! She gave it as simply as I asked for it. Thanks Lucy!
Is it just me, or is it not just the most fun thing in the world to take your little tots to the pumpkin patch and perch them on a big fat pumpkin and take a picture? I am so looking forward to doing this and the place I am taking the boys to has wagon rides and all kinds of outdoor festivities to make a magical scrapbook page, or I mean a magical day for the boys! Woops you almost caught me.LOL
