Being Thankful!
Through a chain of blogs and hearing God's word through family Life, I have been so convicted that I am not intentional enough about being thankful.
I don't express it enough to my children that I am thankful for them and all the sweet little things they do that make me smile. Nor do I express to them that it is so important to say thank you to God for all we have instead of always asking for more. (my downfall)
I know I don't nearly convey how important and what a blessing my husband is in my life. I am so thankful for all he is and does.
Why is it such a great big secret to us that we are thankful. The word thankful is such a humbling word, It takes the "I" out of the equation and puts "_____" into the equation. Taking out the "I" is the magic for me.
I found idea's through Jackie's blog here on a few craft projects to do with your kids and that would be a great way to talk about being thankful and the importance of being thankful. If you read Jackie's post follow her links as well because there are some great idea's.
Thanks for reading my blog, and drop me a note on what you are thankful for.
God Bless, Christina
